When I started with the therapy, i told my therapist that I am like "kaattathu azhichu vitta pattom" in Malayalam which means the kite that was let go of in the wind. I am so amazed that how our divergences coincides even in metaphors. It took me a while to muster up the energy to read your piece, but as always, I am grateful for your writing and having found you. Thank you, Raju ❤️

My dear Raju, all I know is that you have a beautiful mind. This way or that.

It took me a long time to find this post, as I’m pretty clueless around substack. Thanks to Sanobar, here I am.

Thank you for your words. Thank you for your creative resilience. 💟🌻🫂

And yes, it’s a beautiful life with all our perfectly imperfect flaws. Never tested for ADHD as I just know. 😊 Now to go find that creative resilience amidst the winds. One day at a time. 🩵

Raju, almost everytime I hear you read your writing or read it myself, I’m taken by the ease and unexpectedness of the imagery in it. I loved “joy so cheap. Only 3 rupees for a rhombus…” and the thought of people not leaving their terraces even at night, such colourful, communal delight :). I’m gonna look at kites snd remember you now.

The metaphors, the colours, the drawings....Sigh! I love your ADHD kite mind, Raju Tai! What fun to fly in the sky with you. Also, the fear of flying too high is real and very very resonant! I felt just that this morning only to find this piece from you :) Thank you for sharing your joy and fear of flying! It helps scaredy cats like me lol

This piece is like the most beautiful, precious kite (with a fluttering tail!!) that our Raju Tai has launched into the sky with a little jump, bright eyes and a heart full of love, joy and wonder.❤️❤️❤️

Such a brilliant piece, Raju!

Your kite mind gave me also a flavour of the high skies. It’s beautiful out there.

Raju Raju Raju! What have you done! I had to do a double take and read this piece multiple times to soak in and savour its richness. We will not talk about the gush of emotions at identifying so much of ourselves in the description of your mind and feeling so seen. Big kiss and tight hugs and many joyful distractions.
