Every bloody sentence you've written hits hard. So effing relatable, Raju Tai! I love work from home options. I hate the grind of work-commute-dailyzindagi. I steal moments for my writing, like lovers rebelling against the system. The self-doubt remains, but, there's a madness, virtue like, like God calling out to me. It feels so spiritual. No wonder I feel shitty when I don't prioritize my creative outlet. Thank you yaar. Thank you for being YOU. I'll see you guys on the 8th.
"like lovers rebelling against the system" waaah we are already writing about love. 8th ko toh maza hi aa jaega, Sanobar. Thank you for being you too. That's what helps me be me. 💖
Yay… it was (as it always is) so awkward to put up the note and include a post in it… but i’m glad I bore the awkwardness if it meant something for dear Samira ♥️♥️
I'm glad you did too :) It is everything and more that writers need to hear and tell themselves - on a daily basis - less we doubt the need for our writing or existence.
Love this piece - also so inspired by it. Love seeing your desires fleshed out in such a gentle affirming way of how to nurture the love of writing. Thanks raju 😌
Raju - this piece was in my to-read list. I'd seen that first line of that Marie -Louise quote when you or someone else shared it on insta - and I was startled -- jaise apna sa koiee chehra dekh liya ho suddenly walking down a street. So I knew this had to wait -- till I take a small dive myself. I came to it today and was so startled to see the beginning of your piece being about your substack journey (the dive I was waiting for was into substack !). Feeling super charged after reading this ----
Yay, Roshni.... So so happy to read this especially since I am still in the glow of our conversation yesterday.. It definitely encouraged me a great deal.. Sending love to you and your substack journey.. <3 <3
This is the first thing I learnt in design school - there is no such thing as an original idea! Loved going down memory lane with all the songs you've spoked about. I loved the remixed versions as much as the originals. And it never occured to me that my love for old Hindi songs started from the remix itself!
Love every sentence @Raju!! Just too good....I am not creative, have never been. But this still speaks to me loads...thank you for this service....it really is one!!
Preeti Preeti Preeti...you are plenty creative... A non creative person cannot write the essay you wrote in the very first week of Memoir workshop.. Thank you for reading, it means a lot.. 💖

Thank you, Tanya.. 💜💖 Ek baar likhke main khud bhool jaati hu.. toh mujhe bhi zaruraat hai... jab koi pyaar se comment karta hai, phirse padhne ka mauka milta hai..
